Stefanos Tsitsipas has accepted a wild card into next week’s NOVENTI Open, a grass-court ATP 500 event played in Halle, Germany.

The Greek star competed at the tournament in 2018 when he was 19, and he reached the second round by defeating then-World No. 18 Lucas Pouille. Tsitsipas owns an 8-7 tour-level record on grass, and in 2018 he advanced to the fourth round at Wimbledon.

On Friday, Tsitsipas advanced to his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros with a five-set victory against Alexander Zverev. It was his fourth major semi-final.

The 22-year-old joins a loaded field in Halle that includes 10-time champion Roger Federer, World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev.
